Skincare Haul | April 2021

Hello everyone! I’ve recently purchased a few new skincare products to use for my very dry skin! I have only started getting into proper skincare last year and before then I knew nothing about what suits my skin type and what does not. Only recently have I started understanding how beneficial and important the right skincare routine is so I finally started purchasing products that I feel are more appropriate for my skin. I am currently on a hunt to find products that I can repurchase and always rely on since i’ve had quite a few flops in the past when it came to skincare. I have bought some of these products for the first time so I can’t wait to see whether they were all worth it not. Since I am currently attempting to rehydrate my skin I am all about products which will spark joy in my currently dehydrated skin.

Cerave | Hydrating Cleanser

This is my second time buying the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and I honestly loved it so much the first time to the point I ran out of it quite fast. Some of the ingredients it includes are ceramides and hyaluronic acid which are great for hydrating the skin and restoring the skin’s barrier. I had to repurchase this product because I love how gentle it is and does not leave my skin feeling tight after using it. Since I am trying to rehydrate my skin this cleanser really is a great choice for me as it leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated after using it.

First Aid Beauty | Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner

I’ve been wanting to try products from First Aid Beauty for quite some time now and have read amazing reviews about most of their products. I decided to purchase their Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner which aims to hydrate and soothe your skin whilst maintaining balance. I mainly bought this to bring some hydration into my skin as recently my skin has been extremely dry with a lot of dry patches on my face!

Ordinary | Buffet

I have been fairly impressed with the previous ordinary products I purchased so really wanted to get my hands on the Buffet too! The purpose of this peptide serum is to reduce skin ageing and improve the overall health of the skin. After reading reviews about this product I really wanted to try it as they claimed it helps with brightening dull skin and smoothening skin texture which is something that I am definitely aspiring to achieve!

Neutrogena | Hydro Boost Water Gel

I have been wanting to try this Neutrogena moisturiser for quite some time and now that my current moisturisers is running out I decided to finally try this one out. According to the reviews I read, it is a lightweight product with a soft gel texture which is what really drew me in as I am not a big fan of moisturisers which feel thick on my face.

Thank you for reading!

  1. I have the Neutrogena hydro boost water gel it is very lightweight and absorbs in the skin easily. But I recently found a moisturizer InstaNatural vitamin C moisturizer that is so hydrating, my skin looks even better in the morning. But great post. 👍🏽
