Reviewing Fenty Beauty Products

Hello everyone! Today’s post is all about Fenty Beauty and their makeup products! Over the past few months I have purchased a few of their products and have been fairly impressed by them all. The products mentioned below include their powder, bronzer, contour stick and lipgloss. After using these products over these months I am fairly confident on how I feel about them and wanted to share my thoughts on them today.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Mini Instant Retouch Setting Powder (£17)

For the longest time I have been scared of translucent powders because I always assumed it would make me look more cakey, dry and unnaturally bright with it on but was pleasantly surprised to see that this powder did nothing of that sort and instead left a smooth silky finish. I bought this item during lockdown so it was quite hard to guess which shade would suit me the best. I went with the shade ‘Banana’ and I definitely think I picked the right one as it is not too bright nor too dark on my skin. It is very lightweight, looks smooth on the skin and does not cause flash back. I highly recommend this product!

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick (£21)

These contour sticks are totally worth it! They make contouring so easy for those who are not makeup experts, are super creamy and blend like a dream. A little really does go a long way so you get your moneys worth. I like blending the product with either a beauty blender or a brush and it looked great either way.

Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer (£25)

I purchased this bronzer in the shade ‘Island Ting’ which unfortunately was not deep enough for me so I wish I purchased a shade darker. However, this product is buildable so once I do manage to build it up it gives a sun-kissed look that looks quite natural on me. The bronzer itself is smooth and has a buttery formula which is very easy to blend.

Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo (£28)

I can definitely see what the hype is all about for this highlighter because it truly is amazing! It quickly became one of my favourites right after purchasing it. I bought this product in the shade ‘Mean Money/Hustla Baby’ which is a soft champagne shade that adds the right amount of sheen to your skin. Although both shades are super gorgeous I tend to reach out for ‘Hustla Baby’ slightly more as it glows more on the skin.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Colour Drip Lip Cream (£17)

This is one of her newer products that’s been released not too long ago. I have the original Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in ‘Fenty Glow’ and although I liked the glossy look it provided I did not like the shimmer in it. This new range, however, is supposed to have ‘medium-to-full-coverage colour and zero shimmer’ which is what I love about this product. They are pigmented, creamy and have a wide range of bright colours. The shade I own is ‘Cookie Jar’ which has a warm orange undertone and is described as a ‘chocolate caramel’ shade. The texture is gorgeous and leaves my lips feeling moisturised and nourished!

Overall, it’s fair to say Fenty Beauty tends to release amazing quality products that just do not disappoint! Right now I am thinking about purchasing their latest Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint as I’ve heard such great things about this product! Thank you for reading!
